On the 11th day of the ongoing protest taking place this Wednesday in Tirana, thousands of citizens gathered to oppose the planned investment project in Zvërnec.
What particularly caught the attention of those present was the participation of members of the Albanian royal family.
Among the citizens who began marching through the streets of Tirana at around 9:00 PM this evening were Prince Leka and his partner, Blerta Celibashi, who is currently expecting a child.
Their presence among the demonstrators quickly drew attention, as the couple joined the crowd during one of the largest gatherings since the protests began.
Meanwhile, after spending nearly two hours delivering speeches in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, protesters set off on a march through the streets of the capital.
The demonstration continued peacefully as participants moved through central Tirana, carrying banners and chanting slogans while expressing their opposition to the planned development project in Zvërnec.
