Saturday’s Protest Expected to Be the Largest in History – Who Is Arriving in Tirana Today?

The protest scheduled for this Saturday in Tirana is expected to be the largest one so far, following more than ten days of demonstrations focused on Sazan, Zvërnec, transparency, and opposition to what protesters describe as poor governance.

The movement has now extended beyond Albania’s borders. Albanians living in major European cities, Canada, and the United States have organized rallies and voiced their support with the same message: “Rama, resign!”

International attention toward developments in Albania continues to grow. Major international media outlets have reported from Tirana, while foreign journalists have arrived in the capital to closely follow the ongoing events.

According to circulating reports, additional international media organizations are expected to cover Saturday’s protest on the ground.

What began as opposition to the project linked to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in Sazan and Zvërnec has evolved into a broader civic movement calling for transparency, accountability, and the protection of Albania’s public assets.

On Saturday, Tirana is once again expected to be at the center of both national and international attention.
