Pëllumb Pilinçi was present on the 11th day of the protests, where he delivered a strong statement, declaring that he would “drag through the square” those he considers agents.
Pilinçi also praised the police, particularly the police director, calling him “a national hero” and claiming that he “takes orders from the youth, not from Berisha or Rama.”
“I am speaking to everyone. I greet all Albanians wherever they are in the world. The end has come for the communists and the agents who are standing against us here. We are monitoring them. We have mobilized the students in North Macedonia. We organize things here. There are only seven or eight of them. I have exposed them on television.
Albanians, you have endured enough. June 13 will be the final day for the agents, spies, and those who stand here pretending to be brave while being paid. The police are here and are keeping everything under control. The police are on the side of the Albanian people. The police, especially the police director, is a national hero who has transformed the institution. He does not take orders from Berisha or Edi Rama. He takes orders from the youth.
Edi Rama has fallen. We have formed a technical government together with the Albanian people, with you. I am happy to see the young journalists, who are the hope of the nation. As for those who call themselves journalists and analysts on television, those speaking there are agents. We have revealed their documents.
Pilinçi has never been afraid of Berisha or Edi Rama. I will drag them out, but I have left it to the Albanian people to drag them out one by one. And not only them. There are 85 so-called analysts and journalists appearing on television. You are the hope for Albanians. I am not in favor of violence. They have assigned these people. I am convinced of it. Edi Rama has no time left. Sali Berisha is finished as well. There are 85 of them; you have visited many of them yourselves. I know them very well. I do not remember names very well. You are excellent journalists. Do not be afraid of them,” Pilinçi said.
