The well-known pediatrician and neonatologist, Dr. Edi Tushe, passed away on Monday evening.
The sad news was announced by the clinic where he practiced, which shared a heartfelt message on social media, describing him as an outstanding professional and a person of rare human values.
For many years, Dr. Edi Tushe stood by thousands of Albanian children and families, earning their trust and respect through his dedication and continuous care for newborns and children.
His contribution extended far beyond medical practice. He was among the key figures who helped establish and develop neonatology services in Albania. As a lecturer, he also made a valuable contribution to the education and professional training of new generations of doctors, sharing with them the experience and knowledge he had gained throughout his career.
