Korçë – Preliminary Information
At approximately 4:30 PM, on the Korçë–Ersekë road near the village of Kamenicë, a Nissan vehicle driven by 76-year-old citizen Sh. V. struck two pedestrians, a mother and her son, identified as Sh. M., around 44 years old, and her 3-year-old child.
As a result of the accident, the young child sadly passed away in hospital. The mother is currently receiving medical treatment and is reported to be out of danger.
Traffic Police specialists escorted the driver, Sh. V., to the police station for procedural actions.
An investigative team is at the scene and is working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.
