Well-known public figure Dea Michele has reacted through a series of Instagram posts, expressing disappointment and criticism toward journalist and television host Grida Duma.
In her statement, Dea Michele said she was saddened by what she saw during Duma’s recent television program, claiming that the only moment highlighted and shared on social media was one in which she felt she was being insulted and publicly denigrated.
She argued that although Grida Duma verbally condemned the offensive language directed at her, the discussion continued in the studio and the remarks remained unchallenged. According to Dea Michele, actions speak louder than words, and she felt the situation was handled unfairly.
Dea also suggested that criticism against her was linked to her public involvement in the ongoing protests, saying she was disappointed that a woman she had respected had become part of what she described as attacks against her.
In the final part of her message, Michele defended her participation in the demonstrations, describing freedom as something that comes with a cost. She invited Grida Duma to join the protest and witness the atmosphere firsthand.
“Yesterday there were around 100,000 people. Today I believe there will be even more. It is a very beautiful emotion. Trust me,” Dea Michele wrote, signing the message with the words: “With respect, Dea Michele.”
