A shocking underwater moment has gone viral after a diver recorded the exact second an octopus suddenly latched onto a woman while she was swimming.
The woman was calmly diving near a reef when, out of nowhere, the octopus wrapped itself around her body. The unexpected attack left her struggling for a few seconds as she tried to pull the creature off.
According to witnesses, the octopus eventually let go and swam away, and thankfully, the woman was completely unharmed — but the footage has left millions stunned.
