The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, held a meeting this morning with the members of the group.
During the meeting, the group leader stated that, regarding the decision taken yesterday by the MP of the Shkodër district, Marjana Koçeku, who decided to leave the Socialist Party and continue as an independent MP, they would speak about it at another time.
Koçeku won her mandate with the Socialist Party, being part of the closed list, while a day earlier she announced her decision to leave through a post on social media.
“From today, I am an independent MP. My ideals and values are those that I have always had and expressed even before associating myself with a political party. They define my limits,” she wrote.
During the meeting, Balla said that they would address Marjana Koçeku’s decision on another occasion.
